A Stand of Dignity Commemorating the Revolution

On the occasion of the 105th anniversary of the dismantling of the Khilafah (Caliphate), Hizb ut Tahrir / Wilayah Tunisia organized a stand of defiance to commemorate the 15th anniversary of the outbreak of the revolution in Tunisia. The event, held under the slogan "The Revolution Continues... Towards a Rightly Guided Caliphate," took place on Revolution Street in the capital Tunis and was attended by a large attendance. The demonstration began with chants such as: "Islamic, Islamic... the Tunisian revolution is Islamic," "No nationalism, no secularism... an Islamic caliphate," "Forward, forward... a living revolution with Islam," "There is no god but Allah... and the Caliphate is Allah's promise," "There is no god but Allah... and the Caliphate is Allah's rule," "There is no god but Allah... and the Caliphate is Allah's command"...

Then, Mohamed Ali Al-Aouni delivered a powerful speech, beginning by stating that this was a demonstration by the pioneering party, Hizb ut Tahrir, which does not lie to its people, and which remains loyal to the glorious January 14, 2011 revolution, which cannot be ignored even for a moment. This was the first revolution in the Islamic world, which overthrew the tyrant Ben Ali, and this revolution is now fifteen years old, having become aware and mature. It has exposed the colonizer who plunders the wealth, and the Zionist Noah Feldman who oversaw the drafting of the constitution, and the high-ranking official who runs the country from overseas, about whom Beji Caid Essebsi spoke, and the utter failure and zero achievements of the governments and presidents who have successively ruled as a result of their arrogance towards the law of their Lord and their submission to the orders of their masters from the Crusader West (بو برطلّة Bou Bartella).

He also reminded the audience that the global party, Hizb ut Tahrir, with its project derived from the Book of Allah (swt) and the Sunnah of His Messenger (saw), exposed the schemes of the colonizer from the beginning of the revolution and at the same time presented its project to the Constituent Assembly, but they were arrogant and disdainful of the law of their Lord. As a result, they brought the people of the country to the lowest point, increasing their poverty and starvation to empower the Crusader West.

Finally, he directed a message to the world, especially America, that this revolution is unstoppable and cannot be extinguished, and that it will culminate in the establishment of the coming Caliphate, which will put an end to all the crimes they have committed, restore rights to their rightful owners, and spread justice everywhere. He concluded his speech with the words of Allah Almighty: وَسَيَعْلَمُ الَّذِينَ ظَلَمُوا أَيَّ مُنْقَلَبٍ يَنْقَلِبُونَ and وَيَقُولُونَ مَتَى هُوَ قُلْ عَسَى أَنْ يَكُونَ قَرِيباً. "And those who have wronged will soon know what kind of return they will return to," and "And they say, 'When will it be?' Say, 'Perhaps it is near.'"

Following the conclusion of this demonstration, which achieved widespread reach, hundreds of thousands of views, and significant interaction on social media, the secularists and their cronies launched a campaign of incitement and defamation against the party, as they do every time the party creates a powerful impact in the country with its demonstrations, stances, and marches. This revealed their true, hateful face towards Islam and Muslims in the land of the olive tree.

Thus, as every year, Hizb ut Tahrir reminds the Islamic Ummah of the earthquake that struck it at the beginning of the 20th century—the earthquake of the fall of the Khilafah. It also reaffirms its commitment to the revolution that began in Tunisia, which overthrew tyrants who had become arrogant on earth and terrified the colonial kaffir (disbeliever), who rushed to contain it with a modified version of Islam, terrorism, and constitutions and laws that kept his hand extended in Muslim lands, allowing him to act as he pleased. However, by the permission of Allah, this renewed call will find those in the Islamic Ummah who will listen to it, understand it, embrace it, support it, and establish the rule of Allah on earth. Thus, the revolution will culminate in the fulfillment of our Lord's promise and the glad tidings of our Prophet (saw): «ثُمَّ تَكُونُ خِلَافَةً عَلَى مِنْهَاجِ النُّبُوَّةِ» "Then there will be a Khilafah (Caliphate) upon the methodology of the Prophethood."
